He takes piano lessons from the age of 5 with his grand-father, a music teacher.
He studies theater/film directing at the IAD (l'Institut des Arts de Diffusion in Brussels), then philisophy at the Brussels University. He obtains a teacher's diploma (Agrégé) for the secondary school.
His first professional musical band was ARKHAM, in 1971, a trio in which he played organ and which could be described as a progressive rock band in the vein of Soft Machine.
In 72, he joins and records with the legendary and influential French progressive rock band MAGMA and tours in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the US.
From 1976, besides his rock, fusion and jazz activities, he also accompanies on stage and in the recording studios numerous Belgian singers (who sing in French) : André BIALEK, Martine KIVITS, Henri GOLDMAN, Philippe ANCIAUX, Claude SEMAL and since 88, Julos BEAUCARNE with whom he plays many concerts and records four albums. For the last two, he even contributed as an arranger and musical director.
A founding member of the Belgian association of jazz musicians "Les Lundis d'Hortense", he played with several fusion bands :
He teaches piano, jazz piano, harmony and jazz ensemble in several music academies in Belgium.
