Marco LOCURCIO

Marco LOCURCIO was born in 1973.

He studies a.o. with guitarists Peter HERTMANS and John SCOFIELD.

He recorded in '97 with Peter HERTMANS the CD BUDDIES (VKH) in quartet with Nicolas THYS (bass) and Hans VAN OOSTERHOUT (drs). The album contains several of his compositions

In February 2000, he presents a new European sextet, with Gino LATTUCA (tp), Martin GJAKONOVSKI (bass), Chander SARDJOE (drums), Jeroen VAN HERZEELE (sax) and Jozef DUMOULIN (piano).

A live recording was released, November 2000, on the Belgian LYRAE label :

In 2002, he introduces FOUR, a new quartet, of which a first album released in March 2003 on the Mogno label.
