Serge DACOSSE

ELECTRIC BASS, COMPOSITIONS


Born in Brussels, January 30 1968.
Self taught, he started playing bass at age 17 and joined a Rock-Funk group.
At age 18 he met Paolo Radoni with whom he discovered and studied jazz.
During 2 years he played with "WHY NOT" (jazz funk) and in 1988 took lessons with François Garny and Michel Hatzigeorgiou.

When he was 22, he joined the quintet of Willy Vande Walle. 2 years later, he meets Stéphane Martini with whom he plays in various formations of Latin music.
At the same time he also toured with the Greenfeld quintet (jazz fusion).

In 1995 he participates in the Citizen Jane tour (pop jazz).

In 1977 he founded the "ALMORIA TRIO" for which he composes the music (Latin jazz)
