Bart DEFOORT, tenor & soprano sax Diederik WISSELS, piano Stefan LIEVESTRO, double bass Lieven VENKEN, drums | STREAMS is a new project born from the meeting of Diederik WISSELS and Bart DEFOORT after they did some duo concerts. Both musicians have a rich musical background and share the desire to lead the quartet formula into new directions and experiment new grounds. In February 2001, the band released its first album "Streams" on the IGLOO label. STREAMS est un nouveau groupe issu de la rencontre entre Diederik WISSELS et Bart DEFOORT lors de quelques concerts en duo. Nourris tous les deux de nombreuses expériences musicales, ils partagent le désir de revisiter la formule du " quartette " ; oser prendre de nouvelles directions, se risquer en terres peut-être inconnues... Le band a sorti en février 2001 son premier album "Streams" sur le label IGLOO. |
