Four of Belgium's top jazz musicians. Each of them is active on the European jazz scene.
The quartet presents a repertoire of modern jazz, for the most part composed of original material written by Bert Joris, plus some by Michel Herr.
The four players are first rate soloists, the rhythm section cooks, and the music offers contrasting moments of intensive swing and subtle lyricism, some bluesy colours and plenty of room for interaction.
The group was one of the highlights of the '96 Liège Festival and was recorded on this occasion by the Belgian TV RTBF. Other appearances include the Brussels Jazz Marathon '98.

Bert JORIS also presents this high caliber quartet, with outstanding European musicians.
They have toured very successfully in 2000 and appeared in clubs, concerts, festivals and for radio recordings (VRT).
