It is within groups like OCTURN, SAX NO END, K D's BASEMENT PARTY and the BRUSSELS JAZZ ORCHESTRA that saxophonist Bart DEFOORT has distinguished himself for a few years now.
He became the leader of a new group which features his own compositions or standards in original arrangements...

After a first quartet album, "Moving" (Werf 009) recorded with Erik VERMEULEN (p), Nicolas THIJS (double bass) and Gene CALDERAZZO (drs), saxophonist Bart DEFOORT presents his new compositions within his new quartet (see line-up above).
The new band recently did the Jazzlab Series tour and thereafter released a first album, "The Lizard game".
