MEN IN BLUES - LISTEN TO ME Three musicians presenting a square blues that will not leave you indifferent.

Founded in 1998, the trio MEN IN BLUES offers its compositions in an original style, funky accents and modern harmonies.
Drummer and base player constitute an efficient and varied rhythmic. The guitar bordering on hard rock alternates solo, riffs and profound Powerful singing to illustrate actual lyrics.
The theme of the lyrics resembles a caricature of our way of life, present and future. For instance : " listen to me " where the individual is alone facing the establishment.
" but you call me " depict a situation where all our means of communication do not contribute toward a better contact.

In short, we are a far cry from the cotton fields where the blues saw the light of day but the slavery is there under a different visage.

After two seasons of numerous concerts (blues gaume festival, chestrock festival, gaume jazz festival, fêtes de la musique à Bastogne, Libramont, …) the trio felt that it was time to walk into the studio and record their first album : " listen to me ".
One should bear in mind that the musicians of MEN IN BLUES are not novices (20 à 30 years of performing on various scenes of blues, rock, or variété).
The trio has reached an optimal equilibrium, mental and musical, a state that enables flawless performing and the creation of new projects and albums.
